Chrissy and Eric’s story is the ultimate example of Invisible String Theory and how two people are meant to be. Their first memories of meeting go all the way back to 2012 when they were on a volleyball team together at Sideouts. However, due to Eric’s friendship with Chrissy’s cousins their stories have been interwoven for nearly 30 years. During their time playing volleyball both were flirtatious with each other, but it wasn’t the right time. Throughout the years, Chrissy and Eric would see each other at many events. They have always had many mutual friends, so it was not uncommon to bump into one another. Chrissy would always be her sassy self, and Eric would attempt to get on her level of sarcasm with his own jokes and banter. But even then, they weren’t ready to take the next step.

It wasn’t until a beautiful day in July of 2023, a wedding of all places where the pieces finally started to fall into place. The two would talk several times throughout the night before Eric finally asked her to dance. They would go on their first date the following weekend and many more dates to follow. While the universe works in mysterious ways, it never stopped trying to bring the two of them together. They finally recognized what a perfect match they were and that they had found their other half.

After many amazing adventures together, the two took the next step to move in together. In November of 2024, a little over a year after their first date, Eric popped the big question. Chrissy said yes and the two would begin their greatest adventure of spending their lives together. The love Chrissy and Eric share for each other brings us to August 2nd, 2025. Chrissy and Eric will sail the great Edith Becker in Door County and say, ‘I Do’. They look forward to sharing this special moment with their closest friends & family.
